So like everyone knows...Obama is now our new president! Very exciting to say the least. I don't believe anything will change all the sudden, but change is definitely in the near future! On Tuesday after I found out that he won, I felt feelings of happiness, relief, and excitement..not just for me, but for everyone! I believe even those who are republican will gain a lot from Obama being president. They may feel like they aren't happy that he is in the position he's in, but I do believe over time he'll be able to reach out to everyone and they'll be able to recipricate. Even though I don't consider myself a democrat nor republican, I have so much hope for Obama, and I do not believe he will let us down. I believe after the 4 years he is in office, people who didn't vote for him will know why we did.
Ha, tonight Bobby posted a bulletin showing a clip of Fox News none the less, talking badly about Palin. Well actually, not talking badly, just agreeing that she shouldn't of been vice president. And this is why...

Agh, so I actually decided to check my voicemail today; I had like 10 that I haven't even checked. Anyway, I got a call from dark star asking me how my ankle was doing and seeing if I could potentially come back. I haven't been with them for like 3 or 4 years now, and they haven't forgot about me! Sadly, I don't think I'm gonna be skating anytime soon. I'm way tooooo paranoid if something were to happen to my ankle again; I would have a permanent limp! I do not want that! At least that's what my doctor told me. Gah, this is really depressing me right now. I just want to go skate, and especially now that I live in Norfolk, it would be umm amazing!

Anyway, Halloween is around the corner
and Chelsey and I have been bored.

So this past week, I have actually been going to the beach a lot.

Okay, so when me and Brennen were waiting for a table, we saw this "thing" drive by. I don't know what to call it. But I instantly said to myself "Um did I just see fur on a bike?" Yes, I was definitely correct. When we were finished eating, it was parked. I HAD to get a picture of it!
But really, lets get real. This is probably one of the most dangerous things I've seen on the road. The fur is like covering his exhaust! Like am I being dumb? Or am I right? The guy actually came up to us, and was like "yeah, I'm the only one who has thought of this.." Um yeah because you're a dumbass. I think I might just tivo all the news channels for the next 2 weeks. I of course wouldn't want that to happen to anyone, but I can see him definitely getting hurt, probably in that period of time. News Captions: Hair Ball; Young man seriously injured because of fur that is attached to his bike; A cigarette burn from another vehicle causes fur to catch fire on the highway. Like seriously, I could think of millions!
If anyone agrees with me on this, please let me know I'm not being dumb.

Being in these old buildings and whatnot, was actually pretty impacting in a way. I felt like I was sort of entering a time from the past. Just knowing that people opened these doors, looked out these windows, worked...it just seems so unreal until I actually stood there and thought about it. And then I saw the condition of which all these buildings and antiques are in. Old, burnt, filthy, in pieces, bent, torn, and so on. I don't really know how to explain it, but it just struck me.

Besides all this, I don't know if you guys have heard, but I've started a fund for my brother Justin. Long story short, he was paralyzed in a car accident 11 years ago and I've decided 11 years is just way too long to sit in a chair, I want him to walk. I'm not saying its a sure thing he is going to, but I am sure it will at least get him half way there..at least for now! So I want to raise money to get him the tools he'll need to start walking again. Such as medical equipment, medication, research medicine, rehabilitation, and so on. So this weekend has been pretty rad.
Friday,
I went out with all my girls and some of my boys to The Wave. It was alright. I actually got drunk for once. Ha, not really used to that. I'm usually always the DD! We danced our asses off, drank some PBR, and got some Donut Dinette as usual!
Saturday,
I decided to accept my offer to photograph a wedding on the Spirit of Norfolk cruise. It was alright, got paid very well! That night, Death Before Dishonor, The Warriors, and Terror were playing at Steppin Out. Bryan put me on the guest list, and I wanted to hang out with him, so I thought why not. It was an okay show. Bryans band did great..(dbd), The Warriors were alright, but I like the old Warriors before they got signed. Terror, well I really don't listen to them much, but they did a good set.
And today, Sunday...
Brennen and I decided to go into the wilderness to an abandon base. It was pretty cool..a lot of wrecked up buildings, older antiques everywhere, but the tics were horrible! They were all over the place! Then we went to Waffle House and grabbed some food, and then watched some movie on my pay per view. That was my weekend, and now its over. Back to reality..working, school, and some stress here and there.
